The Italian Festival of Painted Bodies … the most colorful event on Lake Garda!
For the 14th consecutive year, one of the most colorful and curious artistic events on the Italian scene: an art show, dedicated to body painting. The Italian Bodypainting Festival will be held on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June in Garda, on Lake Garda, in the splendid setting of the Regina Adelaide lakeside: a national competition of bodies painted with various techniques such as Brush & Sponge, Airbrush, Special Effects, Facepainting and Amateurs. It is the most colorful event on Lake Garda, as well as the only international event of its kind in Italy, where different artists specialized in body painting meet in a friendly challenge, putting their skills at stake with techniques such as paintbrush, airbrush or special effects. The public, each year more and more numerous, has shown to appreciate the skill and dexterity of the painters that in a few hours transform their models into a living work of art. The same days of the festival, there will also be a photo contest with the theme of painted bodies and various performances by singers and groups, as well as the Fair of the Village of Art.
Informative workshops on the art of painting bodies are also planned.
